Send a message of hope

At this moment, a woman is getting ready to leave her abusive husband, trying to figure out how to provide for her child before he hurts them again. Right now, a man is afraid to reach out for help because he’s not sure people will believe that he’s a survivor of domestic violence. A young adult is finally able to move away from abusive parents, but has no idea where to start.

What do they all have in common? They all need support, and they’re all afraid.

Operation Safe Escape is donating new laptops to domestic violence survivors through the shelters and safe houses we partner with. Often, they escape with only the clothes on their back, so having a way to search for jobs, continue their education, and communicate with their support system is life-changing.

In some ways, it’s even more life-changing to simply know that people care. For that reason, we’re including messages of hope, encouragement, and inspiration from people just like you. Send a quick note to let them know that they can do it.

Your message will be shared with people who have recently escaped an abusive relationship, or who have recently freed themselves from a stalker. Make it count!
