Intake Specialist
Summary
OSE is looking for intake specialists, who will be the first point of contact that clients have when they reach out to us for help. We need people that are knowledgeable, compassionate, and willing to help determine how we can best help.
What the role looks like
This position reports to the intake team lead, and will receive training and orientation from the same
For those available, they will be added to the on-call rotation to ensure coverage for clients when they reach out. If you are not able to work on rotation or need to be removed from rotation for any period of time, this can be coordinated through the intake team lead
Contact will come via email and must be replied to as quickly as possible
During periods of availability, may need to call certain clients to determine their need
What we’re looking for
- A passionate do-gooder. Our organization consists entirely of folks who offer up their time & effort to the betterment of others so we’d like more of the same.
Experience working with a diverse audience, responding with compassion and understanding
Experience in one or more security domains is preferred, which may include cybersecurity, physical security, privacy, opsec, etc
Experience working with domestic violence organizations, or other advocacy organizations is preferred
